Facilities Coordinator CBRE Global Workplace Solutions provides integrated facility management services on all continents with more than 60,000 employees. In Switzerland, the GWS division provides technical, infrastructural and commercial facility management services for clients from various industries. For our growing Facility Management organisation at a client in Zürich we are looking for a: Facilities Coordinator Your main tasks:
- Quality, Health, Safety & Environment: Actively contribute to enhancing our safety culture by logging hazards, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, reporting incidents, and conducting site audits. You'll maintain thorough QHSE Log books and complete monthly compliance tasks.
- Operations Excellence: Proactively manage facility issues, monitor service deployment, conduct quality inspections of the workspace, and ensure general office tidiness. You'll ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery, coordinate logistics for events, and manage lost and found processes. Data integrity for reporting and supporting contract management, financial administration, and KPI delivery are also key aspects.
- People: Foster a positive team culture, motivate performance, and support team development. You will provide guidance, oversee work allocation, and ensure efficient team scheduling.
- Supplier Management: Coordinate and supervise supplier personnel and subcontractors, ensuring satisfactory service delivery and compliance.
- Finance: Support budget preparation, manage financial procedures, and assist with invoice/purchase order processes.
- Project & Programs: Contribute to initiatives that improve local operations, customer experience, and support building-related projects and renovations.
Your profile
- Preferred FM related qualifications, including QHSE.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and German.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Good People Management skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and encourage team development.
- A strong understanding of good health & safety practices and a proactive approach to promoting a strong Health & Safety culture.
- Good understanding of building management systems and processes.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Facilities Coordinator role.
- Experience within a Facilities Environment.
- Practical experience managing contracts and working with supply partners to deliver seamless, integrated service. What we can offer you:
