Job description
InfraVia is looking for an intern to support the infrastructure investment team. This internship will provide a unique opportunity to gain strong exposure to the European middle-market infrastructure private equity ecosystem. Joining an established team, you will be working closely with the investment team of c.30 people and you will be involved in the investment process

Responsibilities
Market Research: perform deep-dive analysis on various sectors to develop investment convictions on behalf of the Funds - Deal Sourcing: map key players through the market research and help the investment team in early identification of interesting targets.
- Assist in proactive monitoring of specific targets and maintaining the deal sourcing CRM
- Deal Assessment: be part of a deal team that meets management teams, screens and analyzes investment opportunities and business models to qualify the most relevant ones for InfraVia
- Valuation: perform top-down valuation of businesses using multiple valuation methodologies (comparable multiples, DDMs, LBO models) and work with the investment team as bottom-up financial analysis is built on specific opportunities
- Due Diligence
- Support: support the team in performing financial, commercial and technical due-diligences on relevant companies
- Network: develop as part of the team your network across advisors, service providers and companies Profile
- Strong academic background
- Interest for the European infrastructure market
- Thriving in fast-paced environments
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Analytical, proactive & communicating well
- Previous experience in Investment Banking, PE, Consulting or in a corporate development / M&A team
- Some prior experience in financial modelling and good use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent in English and French. Other European languages are a plus
