About the role: This Senior Manager role sits as part of the Partner Office Services team, and will take a lead on all aspects of partner mobility, as well as leading on a portfolio of specialist partner processes. The role provides clear advice, practical judgement and strong operational and budgeting control across partner relocations, international assignments, permanent transfer support, contractor engagement for former partners, partner sabbaticals and partner-related Workday activity.
The role
will balance partner experience, policy and regulatory compliance, commercial discipline, risk management and operational efficiency It will work with the Partner Office leadership, LoS Teams, global mobility teams, member firms and external vendors to ensure decisions are well-evidenced, approvals are clear, and complex issues are managed with discretion and confidence and in line with the relevant tax, legal and regulatory requirements.
Alongside core delivery, the role will be expected to improve how the work is managed through clearer processes, reusable guidance, better data, stronger knowledge management and appropriate use of technology to reduce manual effort and improve resilience.
What your days will look like:
- Lead and coordinate partner mobility, relocation, sabbatical and contractor processes, ensuring a seamless experience supported by strong governance, risk management and budget oversight.
- Act as a trusted advisor and central point of contact, building strong relationships across the Partner Office, Tax, HC, Finance, OGC, Workday teams, member firms and external providers.
- Provide pragmatic guidance on policy interpretation, business cases and exceptions, balancing partner experience, cost, compliance and operational risk.
- Drive continuous improvement by standardising and enhancing processes, leveraging data and technology to provide leadership with insights on mobility trends, costs and risks.
This role is for you if you:
- Excel at building trusted relationships and influencing senior stakeholders, with experience partnering across complex organisations and managing external suppliers.
- Have experience in global mobility, human capital, professional services, or a similar environment supporting partners or executive-level stakeholders.
- Are a programme manager, able to balance competing priorities, budgets, approvals and sensitive issues with sound judgement and discretion.
- Combine excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, produce meaningful insights and support informed decision-making.
- Have a solid understanding of global mobility, relocation, tax, payroll, immigration and workforce governance, and can apply policy with a commercial and risk-aware mindset.
- Are passionate about continuous improvement, using systems such as Workday and technology-enabled solutions to enhance processes, data quality and operational effectiveness.
