Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients. Preferred qualifications:
  • 6 years of experience managing relationships with customers or agencies and service partners at an executive level.
  • Experience in communications planning with 3 years of experience building and delivering cross-channel plans.
  • 2 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Experience working with Influencer Marketing Agencies and Creative Agencies.
  • Experience within the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) category. As an Industry Manager, you will lead on one of the Retail team’s most sophisticated, and significant customers. You will leverage your understanding of the retail industry and Google's advertising solutions to help this client achieve their business objectives and drive meaningful growth in the dynamic digital landscape. You will require an experience of performance and brand solutions and a developed understanding of the wider engaged landscape. Furthermore, you will need exceptional influencing skills to navigate a large business with various range of stakeholders. Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.
  • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and executive partner stakeholders. Develop a comprehensive understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success.
  • Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
  • Build an in-depth knowledge of how Google Advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
