Your job will be to build a delightful and fun experience for our users through their first seven days in the app. You will achieve this by identifying and optimizing moments of churn, improving our existing funnels and engagement loops, and building new features that deepen early user engagement. We currently have a 90th percentile D7 retention
- you’re job is to take us to the 99th. You will be given the autonomy to drive the business forward by owning the roadmap, running discovery and experimentation, and shipping with your own engineering and design team. You will report to David, our Product Director, and work with a team of marketers, engagement managers, designers, and engineers to drive DAU to the moon. Every member of this team regularly ships feature into production that pass our quality bar using Claude, Cursor etc. This role enables you, and expects you, to truly bring your ideas from 0 to 1. - Build and prioritize the onboarding roadmap balancing impact and effort Conduct always-on competitive intelligence to identify new consumer app loops that could fit our product Gather insights from our user base to inform product development Size the impact of all potential initiatives before diving into the work
- Create unassailable product specifications for all feature development and ensure there is always a full-backlog for the team to work on
- Create a delightful first week experience in the app Partner with product designers to ensure a fun and delightful user experience in our app Develop unassailable product specifications for all feature development and ensure there is a full-backlog for the team to work on
- Work with engineers to bring specifications to life Ship features from end-to-end yourself using Claude and Cursor Enact best-in-class QA to ensure successful feature launches and minimal time spent squashing bugs Run Experimentation to meet KPIs Make decisions with data, not gut feeling: design and run rigorous A/B tests across the first week experience
- Build the experimentation and reporting frameworks that turn every release into a learning
- Implement robust monitoring and alerting to both identifying opportunities for improvements and identify issues for triage Preferred experience Must-haves 3+ years in product management , ideally in a mobile-first consumer app Experience owning a product roadmap and driving measurable growth through experimentation and product iteration Track record of shipping features into production using Claude, Cursor, Codex, or other agentic AI Ability to create basic wireframes from scratch in Figma AI-native mindset — you see the power these tools can bring to the product experience when used appropriately Deep knowledge of the mobile app ecosystem and onboarding funnels Strong design sense Strong product craft : discovery, prioritization, writing clear specs, and shipping cross-functionally with engineers and designers.
