- Experience in network infrastructure, network design, network architecture, optical design, and fiber architecture. Preferred

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.
You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. In this technical program management role, you will own and drive the strategic network planning direction for the region projects for the EMEA Network Acquisitions (GNA). This position is highly analytical, involving data-driven analysis to develop the metro’s roadmap, compiling the strategic vision in supporting the network assets procurement plan such as RSP, fiber and leased wavelengths in order to meet forecast demand and the business strategy, while complying and influencing network architecture guidelines.
You will be expected to optimize Google’s Production Network for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency while maintaining the ability to meet new product rollout in a timely manner. This will be accomplished by enabling close cross-functional collaboration and teamwork with network engineers, strategic negotiators, and varying TPgMs across multiple teams.
