Purpose of the Role The Project ManagerFacilityisresponsibleforplanning,coordinating,anddeliveringnewconstruction,renovation,andinfrastructureprojectsattheHaagsite. The roleensuresthatprojectsarecompletedsafely, ontime,withinbudget,andin linewithoperationalrequirements,whilesupportingtheongoingdevelopmentofthesite'sbuildingandtechnicalinfrastructure.
Responsibilities
ManageandcoordinatenewconstructionandrenovationprojectsattheHaagsite.
- Develop, plan,andleadconstructionprojects,includingsite management, costplanning,budgeting,andprojectcontrolling.
- DesignandadvanceHVAC (heating,ventilation,airconditioning,andsanitation)projectsincollaborationwithinternalstakeholders.
- Prepare conceptualdesignsandcoordinateprojectplanningwithexternalengineeringanddesignconsultants.
- Supportbuilding permitapplicationsandapprovalprocessesincooperationwithexternalplanningoffices.
- Developandmaintainconstructionscheduleswhilealigningprojectactivitieswithongoingsiteoperationsandprojectobjectives.
- Coordinatemultidisciplinaryprojectactivitiesacrossconstruction, HVAC,electrical, buildingautomation(MSR),cleanroom,andfireprotectiondisciplines.
- Managetenderingprocessesandsupportcontractawardsincollaborationwiththecentralprocurementteam.
- Overseeconstructionexecution,ensuringcompliancewithquality, budget,andschedulerequirements.
- Coordinateprojectacceptanceactivities,managedefectresolution,andensuresuccessfulhandovertoendusers.
- Participate intheon-callrotationteam fortechnicalalarmsandemergencysituations.
Qualifications
Completedtechnicaleducationin a relevantfieldsuchasInstallationEngineering, HVACPlanning,MechanicalEngineering, or acomparablediscipline.
- Proficiencyin GermanandEnglish,bothwrittenandspoken.
- Furthereducationorprofessionaldevelopmentin Building Services Engineering, Building Technology, or arelatedfield.
- Severalyearsofprofessionalexperiencein buildingservices,construction,infrastructure, orprojectmanagementenvironments.
- Experienceplanning,coordinating,anddeliveringtechnicalconstructionorinfrastructureprojects.
- Stronganalyticalandconceptualthinkingskills,withaninterestindevelopingandimplementingnewsolutions.
- Demonstratednegotiationskills, soundjudgment,andtheabilitytoinfluenceprojectoutcomeseffectively.
