Division : Five Arrows Programme : Long term internship Duration : 6 months Apply here The FAGP team (with offices in Paris, London, New York and San Francisco), formerly known as FAGC, is currently deploying its second investment vehicle (€1.3bn), following a first fund of €450m.

Fagp ii

invests equity tickets ranging from €50m to €200m, with the ability to structure deals with or without leverage, through majority and minority stakes in fast-growing SMEs across Europe and North America. FAGP focuses on two main verticals:

  • Data & Software (Kpler, Padoa, Ovivio, Agilio, Intact Systems, Hublo, NetVendor)
  • Healthcare (Biophorum, Schivo Medical)

Responsibilities

The FAGP Investment Analyst internship provides an insight into all aspects of direct investment in growth equity:

  • Sourcing: participating in subsector and regional coverage and screenings of potential targets
  • Evaluating potential investment targets, incl. conducting expert calls and presenting opportunities to the team
  • Understanding of the business model and competitive landscape of potential targets in line with FAGP's investment strategy
  • Financial analysis, valuation and modelling
  • Participating in the preparation of investment committees (incl. drafting slides for investment memos) and attending committees
  • Portfolio monitoring (financial reporting, review of build-up opportunities etc.)

Qualifications and skills

required

  • Strong analytical and summary skills, solid understanding of financial concepts (financial analysis, valuation, LBO operations and returns)
  • Business sense, and curiosity for the tech and healthcare sectors
  • Enthusiasm, proactivity, rigour, team spirit
  • Fluency in both French and English (working language of the team)
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Power Point
  • Previous experience in private equity, M&A, strategy consulting, corporate finance in healthcare or tech, or transaction services
