Product Structuring Specialist

Would you like to help us strategically develop UBS Asset Management’s direct Alternative product offering for our clients? We’re looking for a Product Structuring Specialist to:

• help innovate and evolve our direct Alternative products offering, with a focus on direct real estate, across global markets
• help drive and participate in the generation of new product ideas
• participate in and manage the product development aspect of an evolving direct Real Estate/Private Markets offering
• efficiently manage product lifecycle to ensure a competitive product shelf
• lead product development activities including the design, product governance and implementation through launch
• conduct market research to identify new product opportunities and prepare strategic product and structuring recommendations
• take an active role for the product roadmap and pipeline of future initiatives
• collaborate closely with Client Coverage Distribution and Investment teams to help formulate the right solution for clients across different markets
• work with legal, tax, compliance, risk, and operations teams to assess suitable and efficient product solutions
• oversee the market and product performance to identify opportunities and challenges, ensuring a robust and coherent product shelf
• work with fund boards to implement strong and robust fund governance procedures. You will be part of the Alternative Product Structuring team, based in Zurich, which is part of the Structuring & Client Platform function within UBS Asset Management’s Client Coverage organisation. Structuring & Client Platform plays a central role in shaping and managing UBS Asset Management’s comprehensive product shelf, which includes both traditional and alternative investment solutions. We collaborate closely with colleagues across investment, distribution, and control and risk functions to deliver innovative products that meet the evolving needs of our clients worldwide. • experience in the financial sector, with a focus on real estate investment products (including open-ended, closed-ended, evergreen and structured funds)
• knowledge of global alternative investment structures and the real estate competitive landscape is preferable
• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in finance, accounting or related field and/or legal background
• experience with fund formation, and familiarity with legal, tax and regulatory aspects of fund structuring
• fluent in German and English (mandatory) •

• deep interest in the Alternatives ecosystem, market trends, and innovations within Alternatives asset management
• proactive self-starter with strong attention to detail
