As Cable Specialist, you are responsible for providing technical expertise in the design, production, testing, installation, and optimization of cable systems. The role supports internal departments, customers, and project teams to ensure high-quality cable solutions that meet technical, operational, and safety requirements. Your tasks

• Provide technical support for high-voltage and special cable systems
• Support cable design, specification, and material selection
• Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, and project management teams
• Analyze technical requirements and customer specifications
• Support factory acceptance tests (FAT) and cable testing activities
• Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for cable-related issues
• Ensure compliance with international standards, safety regulations, and internal guidelines
• Prepare technical documentation, reports and product data
• Support installation and commissioning activities when required
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and external partners on technical topics
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization

Technical education in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

• Experience in cable technology (cable testing and diagnostics), high-voltage systems or industrial manufacturing
• Strong technical understanding of cable systems and production processes
• Knowledge of international standards and quality requirements is an advantage
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus
• Familiarity with D365 or similar ERP systems
• Project management experience is an advantage
• Customer-oriented mindset
