We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Loan Servicing team within our Product Engineering department. Our Servicing team build the systems that keep our loans moving. As a senior engineer, you’ll play a critical role in evolving our loan infrastructure, ensuring accuracy, speed and simplicity. Our team are keen problem solvers, collaborators and innovators. This is a brilliant opportunity to get involved in a team that are core to what our customers experience once they take out a product with Funding Circle.

- Experience working in Ruby or Python
- Strong fundamental programming skills
- Ability to quickly grasp and understand complex back end systems
- It’s beneficial, but not essential if you have an interest in working with complex mathematical problems.
- Able to architect custom AI solutions and smart automated systems that are safe, maintainable, and aligned with our long-term mission
- Act as a technical bridge and mentor, training “builders" across the company to move from basic AI usage to sophisticated system creation.
