Consolidation / SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting SME

We are looking for an

specialist with strong expertise in Controlling (CO) and SAP Group Reporting (GR) to design, implement, and support our management reporting and performance steering solutions. The role sits in the Finance Technology department and works closely with Finance/Controlling, Group Reporting, and other business stakeholders to deliver high quality, reliable reporting capabilities on our SAP S/4 platform. You'll be working within UBS Finance Technology, joining a global dynamic scrum team of Business & Technical Analysts.

to find solutions for strategic business challenges, analysis of current processes and functionalities, implementing best in class solutions for customers and UBS business.

• Design and implement SAP S/4HANA Controlling and Group Reporting solutions to support planning, actuals, and management reporting requirements.
• Translate business requirements from Controlling, FP&A, and Group Reporting teams into robust SAP designs and technical specifications.
• Configure and support: o Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting o Internal Orders / Projects (as applicable) o Profitability Analysis (CO PA, account based) o SAP Group Reporting structures (consolidation units, consolidation groups, FS items, dimensions, etc.)
• Design and maintain reporting structures (e.g., hierarchies, reporting dimensions, characteristics) to support management and segment reporting.
• Support data model design and integration between: o SAP General Ledger (FI) o Controlling (CO) o SAP Group Reporting (GR) o Upstream and downstream systems (e.g., data warehouse, BI tools).
• Participate in and/or lead end to end project activities: o

gathering and fit gap analysis o Solution design and documentation o Configuration, testing (SIT, UAT), and deployment o Cutover and post go live support

• Ensure data quality and consistency across FI, CO, and Group Reporting, including reconciliation and validation checks.
• Collaborate with technical teams (ABAP, integration, security, basis) on enhancements, interfaces, and performance optimization.
• Provide 2nd/3rd level support for Controlling and Group Reporting processes, including incident and change management.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, templates, and standards in the SAP Finance landscape. ________________________________________

• Experience : • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. • Solid
• experience : (typically 3–7 years) working with SAP Finance in an implementation or support role. • Hands on
• experience : with SAP S/4HANA (or SAP ERP with clear S/4 exposure) in: o Controlling (CO) – cost centers, profit centers, internal orders, CO PA o SAP Group Reporting (preferred) or comparable consolidation/reporting tools. • Strong understanding of financial and management reporting concepts: o P&L, balance sheet, cost allocations, profitability analysis o Segment/management reporting and performance steering. • Proven experience in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, and testing in SAP. • Experience working in project environments (e.g., template rollouts, greenfield/brownfield implementations, or major enhancements). ________________________________________ Skills & Competencies • Strong SAP configuration skills in CO and Group Reporting (or willingness to deepen GR expertise quickly). • Good understanding of integration between FI, CO, and Group Reporting. • Ability to translate business needs into system solutions and explain system constraints in business language. • Analytical mindset with strong problem solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable working with Finance/Controlling users and IT colleagues. • Proactive, structured, and able to work both independently and in a team. • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage. ________________________________________ Nice to Have • Experience with SAP Fiori apps for Finance and Controlling. • Exposure to planning and budgeting solutions (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud Planning, BPC, or similar). • Experience in financial services / banking or other highly regulated industries. • Familiarity with agile delivery methods (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps tools. • You are curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows.
