Private Equity Middle Office – Internship

Access Capital Partners (“Access”) is a leading independent European fund manager investing in Private Equity and Infrastructure assets in Europe. Access manages EUR 15.8 billion on behalf of its international institutional clients and operates with a team of 100+ professionals based in six offices: Paris, London, Brussels, Helsinki, Munich, and Luxembourg.

We are seeking an Intern to assist our Middle Office team and support its expanding activities. The Middle Office team currently includes 26 persons, located in our Paris, Brussels and Helsinki offices.

The internship will take place in our Paris office for six months. Best candidates may have the opportunity to obtain a full-time employment at Access after their internship as the company is actively looking to increase its Middle Office team.

Reporting to the Middle Office Partner, located in Paris, you will assist the current team in the daily monitoring of the operations in the Access’ Funds, specifically in the following fields:

• Monitoring of investments and investors positions – cash-flow management, risk analysis;
• Valuation of Access managed Funds in coordination with Fund Accountants in France or elsewhere in Europe;
• Calculation of key performance indicators (IRR, DPI, TVPI) and non-financial performance related to investments;
• Production of quarterly investment reports for investors;
• Follow-up of investors special requests;
• Participation in the improvement of workflows and processes.

• Very good practical knowledge of IT tools such as MS Excel and MS Word;
• Very good analytical skills;
• Rigorous, curious and well-organized;
• Team player;
• Strong interest in Private Equity sector;
• Familiar with accounting & legal terms would be an asset.

The Profile:

• Last year of Business graduation, recently graduated from a European business school or University (Master’s degree and/or major in finance).
• Excellent written and spoken practice of French and English are imperative (85% of communication takes place in English).
