Private Equity – Internship – Analyst Finance team BlackFin is the leading private equity platform dedicated to financial services in Europe. As an independent company with c. €4bn Assets under Management, BlackFin is currently deploying its 4th generation Buyout fund and its 2nd multi-stage FinTech fund. BlackFin Capital Partners is a fully independent firm, established in 2009, run by its 4 founding partners. Laurent Bouyoux, Eric May, Paul Mizrahi and Bruno Rostain have worked together as managers and entrepreneurs in the financial industry for decades.

Altogether the team consists of 56 experienced professionals from Europe and the Americas. BlackFin operates as an active and influential investor, supporting successful management teams to take their businesses to the next level. The BlackFin team has substantially contributed to transform its portfolio companies by growing them organically, improving operating margins and also through an active buy-and-build strategy. Missions The intern will be part of the Finance Team and will contribute to the team in the following areas:

• Monitoring of portfolio companies: - Monitoring and analysis of operational, financial, and extra-financial (ESG) results - Portfolio company valuations - Implementation of management packages - Preparation and monitoring of regulatory files at acquisition and during the holding period
• Investor Relations: - Preparation of quarterly reports for investors - Preparation of materials for Annual General Meetings and Investors Committees - Production of qualitative and quantitative analyses of the portfolios
• Fundraising: - Preparation of marketing materials - Involvement in the due diligence process conducted by potential investors - Production of qualitative and quantitative ad-hoc analyses of the portfolios and the funds Profile - Excellent academic record and preparatory class required - Motivated, curious, eager to learn, flexible, and ready help colleagues execute diverse tasks - Previous experience at top tier Audit firms, Private Equity or Investment Banking preferred - Previous experience as a project manager, e.g. in a cultural, sports or political association is a plus - Fluency in French and English is essential.
