- Simulation Tooling to develop and integrate the simulation environment used by our robotics and product development teams, working closely with domain experts to help teams develop, test, and validate AEON faster. Your Mission
- Develop and integrate our simulation platform in Python on Linux, using Nvidia Omniverse / Isaac Sim
- Work closely with robotics domain experts (control, perception, manipulation, mission) to drive the simulation setup forward and accommodate their requests
- Contribute to design and implementation of simulation tooling and workflows
- Drive system integrations across multiple technology stacks to improve simulation fidelity and usability
- Resolve cross-system issues spanning simulation, CI/CD, and robotics subsystems
- Evaluate when to build in-house and when to collaborate with third-party vendors (e.g. Nvidia)
- Deliver reliable software through code reviews, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability, while managing technical debt pragmatically
- Work independently and drive your roadmap through close engagement with simulation users
- Thrive in a startup-like environment within a global company, with flat hierarchies and high personal impact Your Skillset
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field with focus on numerical computation or simulation
- 5+ years of professional Python experience in a technically complex Linux environment
- Experience packaging and deploying Python
- Experience with simulation or game engines (preferably Nvidia Omniverse / Isaac Sim; alternatively Unreal, Unity, or Gazebo)
- Familiar with typical 3D asset tasks: OpenUSD, URDF, and mesh file manipulation
- Solid software quality practices: test strategies, CI/CD, debugging, and operational readiness
- Self-driven communicator, comfortable collaborating with robotics and DevOps experts
- Fluent in English
- Startup mindset: iterative work with focus on usable solutions for the end user
- Robotics domain exposure or direct work with simulation vendors is a plus
