After two years of intense AI research and development at Ecole Normale Superieure and Ecole Centrale Paris, HrFlow.ai was founded in June 2016 to solve the labor market and employment challenges at scale using the latest innovations in AI. Your Mission As a Head of Engineering at HrFlow.ai , your mission is to lead and shape the development of robust and scalable software solutions using Python and Javascript. You will play a central role in collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior developers, and upholding our high standards of code quality. Additionally, you will contribute to the UI/UX architecture of the application, working closely with front-end and AI engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of microservices, APIs, and other applications.

Your expertise will help deliver intuitive user experiences and efficient, maintainable front-end code while ensuring scalability and performance across the entire stack.

Responsibilities

Designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable software solutions using Python, Next.js, and React.js.

  • Collaborating with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and refine software requirements.
  • Leading and mentoring junior developers, providing guidance and expertise in Python and Javascript development.
  • Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks and other technical challenges.
  • Staying updated with the latest developments tools and technologies.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging issues in production and providing timely solutions. About You -

Must Have

Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Senior Software Developer specialising in Python and JavaScript, with at least 10 years of hands-on development experience
  • Strong proficiency in Python, including familiarity with Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask) and libraries.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (React.js, Next.js, Tailwind...).
  • Experience with database design and SQL (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL...).
  • Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes...).
  • experience with cloud platforms and build tools (e.g. AWS, CI/CD...)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong knowledge of software development best practices, including version control, design patterns and code reviews...
