As a Security Engineer Intern, you'll work across our full stack
- product, infrastructure, and processes
- to build security controls and shape how we do security at Maki.
What You'll Work On
Contributing to product security
- from how we handle data to how we design and ship features Building security tooling and automation in our CI/CD and IaC pipelines Running code analyses and intrusion tests on our applications and infrastructure Working on AI security challenges firsthand
- including protecting our Voice AI services against prompt injection Supporting Maki in achieving security certifications and meeting customer and regulatory requirements You're applying for the right job if... You're curious about all aspects of security

- and want to get your hands dirty in all of it You're autonomous and proactive, want to learn fast, and aren't afraid to ask questions or challenge assumptions You want to work in a small team of engineers who enjoy what they build and genuinely collaborate You're looking for mentorship from engineers who care about doing things properly What We're Looking For You're finishing your studies (Bac+4/Bac+5) in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field You have solid knowledge in computer science, including hands-on exposure to at least one area of security
- whether that's application, cloud, or network and infrastructure You're comfortable reading and writing code
- Python, Go, or TypeScript preferred You know how to communicate clearly, take a step back when needed, and work openly with the people around you
