Logistics Operator

Stores / Logistics Operator Location: Witham, Essex | Salary: Competitive + 10% shift allowance and fantastic benefits Hours: 37.5 per week Shift Pattern: 6am-1pm, 1pm-8pm (weekly rotations) W e are looking for a reliable and proactive Stores / Logistics Operator to support our laboratory operations. This role is key in ensuring samples, stock, and materials are efficiently managed and delivered across site to keep workflows running smoothly.

• Manage and transfer deliveries (chemicals, consumables) into main stores
• Move samples, glassware, and materials between laboratories
• Handle waste management processes, including weighing, labelling, and storage
• Process stock movements (IN/OUT) and maintain accurate stock records
• Conduct regular stock checks
• Assist with loading/unloading deliveries, including forklift use (training provided)
• Support logistics activities, including use of the company van

Strong work ethic and ability to work independently

• Good organisational and time management skills
• Basic IT and numeracy skills
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
• Physically fit and flexible with working hours (including weekends when required)
• Forklift licence desirable (training available)
