5+ YEARS, SENIOR
FULL-TIME
ON-SITE IN PARIS
About Arlequin
Arlequin is building the sovereign European alternative to Palantir: an AI platform capable of processing massive data volumes without bias, with high-impact use cases such as fighting disinformation. Founded in late 2024 by Hugo Micheron (researcher in geopolitics and systemic risk) and Antoine Jardin (CNRS research engineer).
The role
You’ll join Arlequin as our first Senior Product Manager to bring structure and direction to HUDEX, our platform that lets non-technical analysts interpret narrative dynamics and high-stakes patterns across massive, multilingual, unstructured datasets. Our customers operate in security, defense, financial services, strategic communications, compliance, audit and investigations — environments where the cost of a confusing workflow or a missed insight is high.
You’ll work directly with the founders, the Head of Engineering, our future Product Designer, and the research team to turn deep customer problems into a coherent roadmap. You’ll spend real time with analysts and procurement stakeholders in sensitive sectors, translate that context into clear specs, and prioritize ruthlessly in an environment where the product, the market, and the packaging are still being defined.
What this person will do
Own the HUDEX product roadmap end to end, from discovery to shipped feature to adoption
Run deep discovery with analysts and decision-makers in security, defense, financial services, and strategic communications to turn ambiguous, high-stakes workflows into clear product problems
Write specs and prioritize alongside engineering, research, and design, balancing fast-moving opportunities against a small handful of strategic multi-quarter bets
Define how the product is packaged and positioned as we move from early adopters to broader public and private sector accounts
Partner closely with sales and forward-deployed teams to turn field feedback and deal-specific requirements into durable product decisions rather than one-off fixes
Define and track the product metrics that matter for adoption and renewal, and bring that signal back into prioritization
Help build the product function itself: rituals, documentation, and how product, design, engineering, and research work together as the team grows
What we’re looking for
5+ years of product management experience, including ownership of a complex, data-intensive or analytical product
Comfortable being the primary interface with technical, security-sensitive, or public-sector customers, and translating their needs without oversimplifying
Strong judgment on what to build now versus later, in a context with limited historical data and an evolving go-to-market
Comfortable working closely with engineering and research on technically demanding problems (AI/ML outputs, large-scale data, visualization of complex structures)
Excellent written communication: clear specs, clear tradeoffs, clear rationale
Comfortable operating without a fully established playbook, in an early-stage, fast-changing environment
Professional English
Bonus
Prior experience in security, defense, intelligence, financial services, or strategic communications
Experience in an AI-native or data platform startup
Already comfortable in an early/mid-stage startup environment
Experience building a product function or design system from scratch
